This place is awesome! The food was great and the service was better. I had never been there before but we will definitely be back there. This was better food than most any other place in the Hills.

Saloon from 1888. Rich history. Food was excellent. Owner actually took time to talk to us and point out interesting facts of the place. The Bison burger was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The sirloin could be cut with a butter knife. Worth the drive from Sturgis!!!
As locals, we want to support local businesses. This combo platter (photo attached) was $20 and this is all we received. We ordered this assuming it would be a larger appetizer for more than 2 people. Not worth the price whatsoever. We love the atmosphere at Bullwacker’s and typically the service is ok, but it’s hard to support when the product doesn’t even come close to matching the price.
This was my 1st time guest experience at Bullwackers and I am highly recommending them. The place was busy and before I even sat down I was told there would be a wait, I was happy to wait since I was told ahead of time. I ordered the Philly steak with chili and a bacon burger with salad. BEST PHILLY I HAVE EVER HAD IN WEST RIVER SOUTH DAKOTA! Hands down nobody compares! The staff is super friendly and quick to fix issues. The bar itself is gorgeous. If you are looking for something you haven't had before Bullwackers will not disappoint.
I had the Buffalo Burger and it was amazing! Most everything is homemade and tasty! Friendly service and cool history to the building.
This is a hidden gem! Loved the food the vibe just a great place to eat. Only about three minutes off the interstate. All fresh no bagged soups here. Loved it.
This is such a great spot, so easy to get to from the highway, just stop by! Authentic history, a locally-owned, lovingly restored genuine cowboy watering hole. The stagg treats you like you're an old friend no matter where you're from. Sparklingly clean, just a great place.
